Come explore the ancient art of Mehndi with the women of Sat Manav!
For thousands of years, women have been adorning their bodies with henna tattoos—a form of natural body paint that stains the skin, leaving beautiful patterns on the skin.
Beyond beauty, these temporary henna tattoos have sacred meanings, empowering the women who wear them. At Sat Manav, this ancient tradition continues, its essence preserved.
Learn from our Mehndi artists as we discover the history of henna and why we use it, learn the basics of doing it yourself, and leave with an adornment of your own!
This event is part of our Shakti Sadhana Women’s Weekend Retreat, but all are welcome to join this workshop! Delicious plant-based refreshments provided, and a nourishing dinner to follow.
Cost for workshop: $30. With dinner: $45. All proceeds go to Sat Manav Yoga Ashram, a nonprofit.
