About the Workshop
A highly practical and hands-on workshop with actors working from the very beginning. This is not a technique you can learn quickly, mastering it takes time and practice. Over two days, participants will gain a strong introduction to the Meisner technique and experience the freedom, connection and authenticity that make this method one of the most respected acting techniques in the world.
You will be excited to be able to apply this technique immediately to your stage and screen performances, as well as your auditions and self-tapes, creating more authentic, connected, and believable work.
Who is Meisner Suitable for?
Suitable for both Beginners and Experienced Actors, stage and screen actors, Meisner training provides a practical foundation actors can return to time and time again for truthful, authentic work across stage and screen. Whether you are new to acting or refining your craft professionally, this workshop will challenge you to listen deeply, respond honestly and work instinctively. This is an acting tool you’ll definitely want in your toolkit.
Being a practice-based technique, Meisner offers ongoing value for actors already familiar with the work. This workshop is an opportunity to revisit the foundations, practise the technique, and deepen your connection to truthful, instinctive performance.
