Event description

Miss Eileen & King Lear

Join Miss Eileen & King Lear as they celebrate the release of their debut album!

Miss Eileen & king lear are a brother/sister duo originally hailing from The Northern Rivers.

You might remember an eccentric family jug band, travelling around in a Raggedy old bus, seen on weekends at local markets or busking on Cavill Avenue late into the depths of Friday night?

Well, once the little tap dancer and curly haired washboard player, Eileen & Lear are now all grown up and have continued down that musical road. What started off as a small side project for the pair (away from their main act Perch Creek), has steadily gained momentum to become a solid outfit that Eileen and Lear are proud of; mixing folk with pop, and laden with strong harmonies, Miss Eileen & King Lear have created a unique sound that compliments their dynamic personalities.

The pair have performed at major festivals across Australia, as well as headline shows and supported acts such as The Lumineers, Gin Wigmore, All Our exes Live In Texas, and Jordie Lane.

Miss Eileen & King Lear are incredibly excited to be touring in support of their debut self-titled album produced by renowned By Victorian producer Edwin White.

“They are the real deal ear candy for the heart and soul” – Gin Wigmore

“The Sibling duo combined warm, humorous asides with beautiful songwriting as effortlessly memorable as it was professionally delivered” – The Music, 2016.

Tix $30 bf online and $35 at the door if still available.
