Put… the candle… back!
The award-winning Mel Brooks’ “Young Frankenstein” is coming to Savannah in the Savannah Cabaret's first-ever full musical production!
Based on his classic 1974 movie, this hilarious show tells the story of Dr. Frankenstein’s grandson, Frederick, who is struggling to create his own legacy separate from his infamous family’s name. Leaving his affection-averse fiancé Elizabeth behind, he travels to Transylvania where he meets the hump-backed servant Igor, the buxom assistant Inga, the intimidating house matron Frau Blucher, and a host of angry villagers who both help and hinder his efforts to continue his grandfather’s work in creating his own Monster!
Filled with laugh-out-loud dialogue, including classic quotes and gags from the movie, and tap-your-toes music like “Please Don’t Touch Me” and “He Vas My Boyfriend,” this show is sure to be a monster-ous good time.
