Melancholics “ The Things They Say About You” Single Launch

Straight off the mixing board of Brisbane legend Jeff Lovejoy comes The Melancholics new single "The Things They Say About You".

With just the right amount of Motown-inspired swagger, the guitars jangle, the drums groove and Bec Adams lays down a killer vocal that will have you moving and swaying.

The six-piece band is super excited to be bringing their unique blend of indie rock and stroll to the stage at It's Still a Secret, and launching the new single with all the style you deserve.

You're invited to a matinee set on Saturday 17 August from 2:30pm with support from very special guests The Mick Medew and Ursula 4!

Yes that's right, Mick and Ursula are back! After the release of their well received album Love is Calling in July 2022, they toured the east coast of Australia and regional Queensland.

They are now back with a full band, with Lois Andrews on bass and backing vocals and Stuart McLaughlin on drums.

The recording of their second album is nearly finished and should be out by Spring this year on i94 Bar Records. This will be the first performance of the Mick Medew and Ursula 4!

Expect songs from Love is Calling, their new album (which Ursula has co-written 4 songs and does lead vocals on 3) and their much loved covers.

Bring your friends, bring your drinking boots, and be prepared to shake as The Melancholics play through their growing list of swinging tunes that are guaranteed to have you wishing that every day was Saturday. The most fun you can have before the sun goes down!
