Event description

Our Melanoma Community Forum is designed to empower patients and their carers with the latest information from expert speakers on melanoma research, treatment and support.

WA melanoma patients, family, friends and the wider community are all invited to attend this informative and supportive event in the gardens of the Cancer Wellness Centre. 

This forum is hosted by Melanoma Institute Australia WA.

Guest Speakers include:

Professor John Thompson AO - Surgical Oncologist, Melanoma Institute Australia
Dr Chandrika Gibson – Survivorship Researcher and Project Coordinator (Survivorship)
A/Prof Tarek Meniawy – Medical Oncologist (Medical management of melanoma)
Kim Evans – Clinical Psychologist, WA Psycho-Oncology Service, Cancer Network WA (Fear of recurrence & progression)
