Stepping into Spring

Welcome to Melb Frills’ first official event!

To celebrate the start of spring, we’re hosting a picnic in the park. Come dressed in your best Japanese fashion, enjoy some treats, and meet fellow members of the Melbourne j-fashion community.

All styles and substyles are welcome — lolita, gyaru, jirai, visual kei, himekaji, and everything in between.

Please bring whatever picnic supplies you’d like (blankets, snacks, games, drinks, etc.). We’ll have a shared food space and an esky for drinks.

Alcohol and nicotine are permitted at this event.

× This event is 18+ only. Anyone under 18 will be asked to leave.

× Photographs and video taken at the event may be used in future Melb Frills promotional materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know on the day.

× We are entirely not for profit, but we Are accepting donations, 100% of these will be put towards the event ( craft supplies, photography, food/drink )
