Melbourne Archaeology Scavenger Hunt

Embark on an exiting jounrey through the archaeological wonders of Melbourne during National Archaeology Week (event held on 18th May 2025.)

• You will be meeting the hosts out the front entrance to the Melbourne Museum. From there you will be assisted with logging into the Scavos app to start the game. 
• The event is for all ages, and requires self-paced walking as far as you like. You are provided with missions through the app such as 'capture a photo of an ancient artefact replica'. Meaning that you need to 'find' the mission anywhere around the Museum or Melbourne CBD. 
• The event will run from 9am to 5pm and you can start at any time during this period, as long as you finish all the missions by 5pm. 
• Missions can be completed as a Group or as an Individual. 
• Winners will be annouced through the app and at the end of the event.
