Melbourne Asia Game Changer Awards 2025 | Gala Dinner
Event description
Join us for the fifth annual Melbourne Asia Game Changer Awards! Celebrate the extraordinary changemakers who are creating waves in Australia’s relations with Asia, over a celebration of Asian culture, food, and art.
This year we are honouring visionary business leader and philanthropist, Robin Khuda, Founder and CEO of AirTrunk as the 2025 Icon Award winner. A pioneer of hyperscale data centres across Asia Pacific and Japan, Robin has helped drive the region’s cloud and AI growth. From migrant roots to the global tech stage, Robin is a champion of innovation, inclusion, and diversity—a true game changer strengthening Australia–Asia ties.
We received a record response to our nomination campaign and winners of our four public categories will be announced on the night. In addition, the Leadership Award will recognise an individual making an outstanding contribution to Australian society, particularly through empowering Asian Australian communities.
Indulge in a 3-course dinner curated by celebrity chef and MasterChef Australia 2021 finalist, Kishwar Chowdhury, showcasing the rich culinary culture of Asia.
The evening will be hosted by renowned TV personality, actor and martial artist, Andy Trieu and feature cultural performances from Chinese Australian Guzheng artist, Mindy Meng Wang.
We are thrilled to welcome JQWS as our official Beverage Sponsor. Guests will enjoy a curated selection of Asia-inspired drinks, adding a cultural touch to the evening.
Hosted at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, the gala dinner promises an evening of inspiring stories, cultural performances, gourmet dining, and meaningful networking.
