Getting the most out of this meeting: It's important for any in-person or virtual networking event that you're present, video on and ready to turn on your microphone. If you're driving your kids to school, running at the gym or working, then it's unlikely you'll experience what this event will offer.

We have a rapidly growing group of likeminded business professionals in decision making roles that meet every week. The SBM and SME businesses in our community mainly do business with their SME and corporate connections.

This is a networking opportunity for the members and visitors of our group who meet weekly and normally pass referrals to each other (all in different industries).

OVERVIEW

PRE-NETWORKING	Before we start, you will be welcomed by the President and/or Leadership Team. Then you'll be moved to a meeting room with our Visitor Host Team that will find out more about who you want to be connected with, then you'll be moved into one of three areas (Business Services, Personal Services or Property). There is never pressure to join or to do business with anyone, it's more about growing everyone’s network for good and reliable businesses. From my personal experience, everyone enjoys catching up, having a laugh, exchanging stories. The opportunities of business naturally flow between our members and guests because of the relationships we form.
BREAKFAST	For the in-person event, we have tea and coffee at the venue. It's normal to have a home-made pick me up coffee. What's not normal is driving in the car, running on a treadmill or skydiving while in the meeting. We will all have our camera on because being engaged is being present, PJ's and all.
MEETING	Our President presents an intro, then you'll be welcomed to the group. You’ll have around 20 seconds to introduce yourself with name, business and what you do. eg. “Thanks for inviting me along today, I'm Bob Smith from Smith Electrical, focused in Domestic and Commercial Electrical work.” Our Vice President will discuss the flow of business and the opportunities for other business decision makers to join our thriving business community. Members will introduce themselves with each member giving a ~60 seconds intro to let you know who they are before we pass business cards around the room for anyone you wish to connect with after the meeting.
FEATURE PRESENTATION	Each week a different member of our group will do a 10-minute presentation (In-Person) on their business or on the Virtual events we have two (2) businesses presenting for 5 minutes each. On occasion we run meetings with VVIP speakers which replace this section and sometimes other parts of the meeting. We also run collaborative and comical business solution events, introducing "Messed Up Murray" where members will run an entertaining skit around how businesses in the room (and include visitors) can help to resolve business challenges together.
POST-NETWORKING	After the event, you will be provided some further information about our BNI group "if" you wanted to join our business family. As previously mentioned, there is never pressure to join or to do business with anyone, it's more about growing everyone’s network for good and reliable businesses. The opportunities of business naturally flow between our members and guests because of the relationships we form.
