MELBOURNE CUP CRUISE AND FLARE DEMO

3rd – 8th November 2020

Tuesday 3rd	12:00	Meet at SYC Main Beach for the Associates Melbourne Cup Lunch in the Compass Room and watch the races. Cost $95pp Book a berth with the Marina Office if wishing to stay overnight.
Wednesday 4th	16:00	Proceed at any time to overnight anchorage at Wavebreak Island. Meet ashore for BYO drinks and nibbles. LW @17:29
Thursday 5th	09:00 16:00	Up anchor for a leisurely cruise to Paradise Point anchorage for overnight stay. Meet for BYO drinks and BBQ. LW @ 19:50
Friday 6th	09:00 12:00 16:00	Up anchor and proceed in convoy to Dux for overnight stay. Meet ashore for walk to Tipplers Café for lunch. FLARE DEMONSTRATION BY VMR JACOBS WELL SPONSORED BY BMS
Saturday 7th	16:00	Meet ashore at Dux for BYO drinks and BBQ.
Sunday 8th		End of Cruise - vessels may stay on or return to home ports at their leisure

NOTE:

All cruise participants must be SYC Gold members (or equivalent Country, Senior, Life).
All participants be aware that they are solely responsible for their own boats at all times.
Cruise participants please monitor VHF CH 72 during cruise.
Participating entry fee of $10 is payable upon registration for the cruise.
We will try to maintain radio skeds at 0800 and 1500 on VHF Ch 72 to keep you advised of any changes
To be eligible to win a lucky draw prize, participants need to be Gold, Country, Senior, Life or Related Associate member of SYC and have been on a vessel registered for the cruise and present in person at the draw.
Anyone wishing to donate their own flares for the demonstration please note that they must be “in date”
