Of all of life’s great truisms, there is one that seems to transcend all differences and transform the professional and personal lives of leaders all around the world:
Life is not about you. It’s about the impact you can have on someone else’s life.
Upholding this beautiful journey from ‘I to We,’ is the work of The Voice of the Free (VF), a Philippine-based safe haven and NGO that combines social care and social entrepreneurship to combat modern slavery, human trafficking and exploitation. VF works tirelessly to protect vulnerable women and children through its Centres of Hope, empowering survivors with a range of creative support services.
Hosted by passionate supporters of VF, Nicole Sorbara (Global COO of Macquarie Group) and Ben Crowe (founder of MojoCrowe), this fundraising lunch will feature a special conversation between globally recognised human rights advocate, life-long freedom fighter and founder of Voice of the Free, Cecilia Oebanda-Pacis, and Ben Crowe.
Join us for an afternoon of storytelling, as we explore the role of acceptance, play and self-compassion in building community, unlocking purpose, and creating lasting cultural change in Asia and Australia.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Voice of the Free, with funds matched by the Macquarie Group Foundation according to Non-Profit Support policy.
Tickets: $100 p/p
