Travel instructions
Akoonah Park is close to Berwick and Beaconsfield Railway Stations. It costs around $8-12 to get to Akoonah Park from Berwick Railway Station and $6-7 from Beaconsfield Station via Uber (sans Surge Rates). Alternatively, Pakenham bus 926 has a stop outside Akoonah Park.
Entry instructions
There are 3 entrances. One on Princess H'way from the service lane and 2 entrances on Cardinia st.
After entry instructions
The ticket booths are inside the park at the north, east and west ends of the Festival area. From there go to the entry & bag check (entrance) area. If you have purchased your tickets online just proceed direct to the entry & bag check area.
Hazards
There are no real hazards.. It is a very flat site with ramps to the Akoonah Centre (the restaurant).
Toilet location
Accessible toilets are at the south west corner of the Akoonah Centre and the north side of the Market sheds. They will be clearly marked on the site maps that will be provided to everyone at the entrance areas.
Accessible parking
People with accessibility issues including the elderly can use the closest carpark in the south west corner via the first gate after turning onto Cardinia st. from the Princess h'way. The boy scouts will be on site to steer you in the right direction. There is parking there for over 200 cars.
