Join me for a relaxed walk amongst some beautiful Eltham nature with small biz owners who feel the same.

Let's explore what it means to stay true to our soft natures as we grow a brand and envision our impact.

In a safe and inclusive space, we'll remind ourselves that success shouldn't exhaust us or see us lose our heart-first values.

It can be slow, nuanced, and deeply meaningful.

Especially if we can support each other through⚡

Meeting point: At the wooden benches outside of the Eltham Copper Butterfly Playspace, in the Eltham Lower Park area. Right next to the mini trains!

Walk route: Along the path beside the creek, heading towards the Diamond Creek trail.

Gather from: 9.30am

Walk at: 945am - 10.30am

When you RSVP, I’ll send a little reminder email the night before. This will include my mobile number (just in case you’re running a few minutes late), any wet weather updates, and and a note on what I'm wearing so you can spot us easily at the meeting point if we haven't met before ✨

Morning flow:

We'll set off on a gentle (~40-min) walk from the meeting spot, heading south along the footpath next to the creek, which then meets up with the Yarra River, and loops back to our meeting spot. We will say our farewells at the wooden benches next to the playground where we met, and you are always welcome to hang around a little longer for chats if you don't need to rush off.

Kiddos, babes and fur babies all welcome. The walking path is smooth and accessible. There are toilets next to the Copper Butterfly playground.

You're welcome to join in however feels right for you - whether that’s connecting, sharing, or simply enjoying the energy of kind, kindred founders and the Eltham backdrop 🙏

Why we're doing this:

Hello - we’re so glad you’re here. These walks began in Perth in April 2025 when Adele (founder of Bookleaf Copy) noticed how a couple of tough biz interactions left her feeling depleted from the lack of empathy and kindness that was shown.

Overlapping these crappy experiences, something great happened. Adele connected with brand designer Jules Campbell - a kindred, heart-first human whose friendship helped her rediscover her joy and inspired this little wave of self-care and support for soft-souls in biz who give so much. Jules deeply felt the call too and became a walk ambassador in March 2026.

We choose heart over hustle - and kindness, always. We want to protect the gift of our sensitivity so we can keep doing the meaningful work that our communities love. We don't want any of us to burnout or feel isolated while on this beautiful roller-coaster of working for ourselves.

So here's to bravely and imperfectly calling in community that feels like home for all of us; a kind tribe that values the many benefits of a softly, slowly, kindly approach to growing a brand and sharing our gifts.
