Melbourne Poets Union Poetry Reading and Open Mic

Melbourne Poets Union (MPU) is a self-funded, incorporated not for profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of poets and poetry.
They host monthly events in different venues around Melbourne and Victoria, run an annual international poetry competition, publish chapbooks, maintain an increasing web presence and are always looking for new opportunities for our members.
And they are coming to Wagga!
To celebrate Finding My Feet - An Anthology of Poetic Voices edited by Dorothy Pouopoulos the MPU is profiling two Wagga poets featured in the book - John 'Mukky' Burke and Marie Clear.
The readings will be followed by an Open Mic facilitated by Booranga Writer's Centre.
