The Minus18 Melbourne Queer Formal is back! It’s the life-affirming night of nights for LGBTQIA+ young people to make friends, dance the night away and be their true selves.
Basically – it’s a chance to wear what you want, bring the date you want, express the way that YOU want, and celebrate with other beautiful queer folk.
There’s something for everyone: expect a lineup of drag artists, live music, DJs hosted by Ru Paul Drag Race Down Under Runner Up KWEEN KONG! – along with quiet spaces, and activities perfect for making new friends.
Come solo, with your pals, whether you’ve been out for years or you’ve never been to a queer event before. It’s the sparkliest night of the year, and we LOVE celebrating with you all.
Tickets are absolutely FREE, and for young people aged 12 to 19 only. So yes, it’s safe event that's alcohol, drug, vape and smoke-free.
Most of all though, this is a chance for the queer youth of VIC to enjoy, while making new friends and celebrating just how wonderful they are. We can’t wait! Free tickets WILL sell out, so grab yours now!
