Melbourne Social Walks - Albert Park Sunrise Walk - Easy 5km

Join our Social Walks leader Adam for a spectacular sunrise walk around Albert Park. This early morning stroll to watch the sun come up is the PERFECT way to start your day with the Social Walks Crew. 

Albert Park is an amazing walk that showcases a stunning backdrop of the city of Melbourne across Albert Park Lake and we'll be strolling along the path beside the lake as we watch the sun come up. 

Our Social Walks are a great way to get outside, get your body moving and make some amazing new friends along the way!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Albert Park loop is a fantastic trail for all fitness levels and the PERFECT way to wake up while hanging with some cool people. 

This trail is roughly a 5km long loop and we will aim to finish the walk around 8:30am where you can head off and enjoy the rest of your day. 

We'll also stop to grab a coffee along the way. 

All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event. 

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

MEETING LOCATION: Lakeside Carpark, Albert Park (Paid Parking). 

MEETING TIME: Arrive 6:10am for a 6:15am SHARP departure to catch the sunrise. 

NOTE: Arriving on time is critical to the Walk getting away on time. Participants not checked-in by 6.10am may be left behind. 

PARKING: There is paid parking at the Lakeside Carpark. 

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 1-2L)

- Morning Snack food for the hike

- Money for coffee at the café afterwards/during the walk (optional)

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable Walking Shoes

- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing (check weather on the day). 

- Hat / Beanie

FINISH

The Hike should take around an 1.5 to 2 hours with small breaks to enjoy some sightseeing.

The walk starts and finishes in the same location.
