Melbourne Social Walks - Mordialloc Pier and Kingston Baytrail Sunrise Walk - Easy 5km

Join our Social Walks leader Adam for a spectacular sunrise walk along the Mordialloc Pier and the Kingston Bay Trail. This early morning stroll to watch the sun come up is the PERFECT way to start your day with the Social Walks Crew. 

The Kingston Bay Trail is an amazing walk that showcases stunning sunrises across Port Phillip Bay that will give incredible views as we stroll along the path beside the water as the sun comes up. 

Our Social Walks are a great way to get outside, get your body moving and make some amazing new friends along the way!

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Kingston Bay Trail is a fantastic walk for all fitness levels and the PERFECT way to wake up early while hanging with some cool people. 

This trail is roughly a 5km long loop and we will aim to finish the walk around 8:30am where you can head off and enjoy the rest of your day. 

We'll also stop to grab a coffee at the halfway point in Parkdale.

All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event. 

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

MEETING LOCATION: Mordialloc Pier Carpark (Paid Parking). 

MEETING TIME: Arrive 6:10am for a 6:15am SHARP departure to catch the sunrise. 

NOTE: Arriving on time is critical to the Walk getting away on time. Participants not checked-in by 6.10am may be left behind. 

PARKING: There is paid parking at the Mordialloc Pier Carpark. 

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 1-2L)

- Morning Snack food for the hike

- Money for coffee at the café during the walk (optional)

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable Walking Shoes

- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing (check weather on the day). 

- Hat / Beanie

FINISH

The Hike should take around an 1.5 to 2 hours with small breaks for photos and to enjoy some sightseeing.

The walk starts and finishes in the same location.
