WHAT TO EXPECT
Arthurs Seat is one of the most picturesque locations on the Mornington Peninsula with stunning views of Port Phillip Bay and the surrounding area. On a clear day you can see as far as the You Yangs, the city skyline and even Mount Macedon.
The McKellar and Kings Falls hike is around a 9km loop plus we've added another 2km to the walk to make sure we get to all the best lookouts and viewing points. There is around 300m of elevation on this trail and the trail is considered a moderate hike but it's a great walk for beginners looking to challenge themselves and take their hiking to the next level.
Once we complete the hike we will head to the Eagle Cafe at the Arthurs Seat main lookout for a celebratory drink! If you're really keen to see more of the Arthurs Seat State Park, you can also go on the awesome and iconic Arthurs Seat Gondola Ride up and down the mountain (you will need to buy a ticket on the day for this).
