Join Nath, Dan and Ads together for an Australia Day extravaganza as we spend the day at Elwood Beach in the sunshine enjoying a picnic day together with games and a swim.

Our Social Walks are a great way to get outside, get your body moving and make some amazing new friends along the way!

WHAT TO EXPECT

Point Ormond and Point Ormond Reserve are a located in the suburb of Elwood. It has a beautiful coastal lookout offering scenic views of Port Phillip Bay and an amazing grassed area with plenty of space for activities. The area is also known for its historical significance and natural beauty!

Nath, Dan and Ads will put on a magnificent Australia Day together with our Social Walks community enjoying different activities that will include swimming, cricket, volleyball, soccer and more!

We'll be ensuring everyone enjoys the amazing environment and has a great day of fun while we put on a sausage sizzle to enjoy on the grass of Point Ormond Reserve to celebrate Australia Day.

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

Meeting Location: Point Ormond Reserve, Elwood VIC 3184

Meeting Time: Arrive 11:00am the day will finish at 5pm

Parking: There is paid parking along the Elwood coastal foreshore reserve. You may also be lucky to find free parking in some of the side streets close to the beach as well.

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 2-3L)

- Snacks and drinks for the day (Strictly no alcohol as Elwood Foreshore has an Alcohol Ban in place)

- Bathers for a swim

- Hat, towel, sunscreen and weather suitable clothing

- Camp chair and any kind of sun shelter (optional)

The day should take around 6 hours with plenty of opportunities for photos and games throughout the day!
