Meet our group and stay up to date with all our events here in our Facebook Group - Melbourne Social Walks

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Cape Woolamai Circuit is moderate hike with around 150m of elevation. It needs a reasonable level of fitness to complete, but beginners are welcome.

The Trail is an 8.5km loop that takes roughly 2-3 hours to complete depending on the pace of the group.

This hike includes some hills/inclines, some stairs, boardwalks which can be slippery when wet and also includes walking on the beach for large sections of the trail.

The Cape Woolamai Circuit is a stunning trail wrapped by panoramic views of the coastline and includes some amazing lookouts and incredible rock formations.

There's a great chance you will see some iconic Australian animals like Kangaroos, Wallabies, Koalas, Possums and if we are lucky, some fairy penguins.

Cape Woolamai is one of the best locations in Victoria for Whale Watching - June/July is the peak season for Whale Migration and the best chance for spotting Humpback Whales, Killer Whales and the giant Southern Right Whales!
