Join our Social Walks leader Adam for another spectacular walk with beautiful coastline views along Carrum Beach and the Patterson River trail located in Melbourne's South East. This trail is the PERFECT way to start your day and share a gorgeous walk with the Social Walks Crew. The Patterson River Trail is a beautiful part of south east Melbourne and the walk will include walking along both Carrum Beach and the trail loop along the gorgeous Patterson River before returning back to the Carrum Lifesaving Club Carpark.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Patterson River Trail is a fantastic trail for all fitness levels and the PERFECT way to wake up while hanging with some cool people.

This trail is roughly 7km long including walking along Carrum Beach (1km) and the Patterson River trail itself (6km).

With beach views along the entire trail, an easy difficulty, and in a great spot - How could you say no?

We will aim to finish the walk around 1:00pm after which you can head off and enjoy the rest of your day.

All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event.

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

MEETING LOCATION: Carrum Beach Carpark (paid parking).

MEETING TIME: Arrive between 9:30am - 9:50am where we will commence walking at 10:00am at SHARP.

NOTE: Arriving on time is critical to the Walk getting away on time. Participants not checked-in by 9:50am may be left behind.

PARKING: There is paid parking at the Carrum Beach Lifesaving Club Carpark from 8am onwards.

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 1-2L)

- Morning Snack food for the hike

- Money for coffee at the café afterwards/during the walk (optional)

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable Walking Shoes

- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing (check weather on the day).

- Hat / Beanie

FINISH

The Hike should take around 3.5 hours with small breaks to enjoy some sightseeing.

The walk starts and finishes in the same location.
