Join Nathan and Dan for our spookiest event ever—our first Halloween Party Walk! Get dressed up in your best Halloween costume and join us for a 5km walk along the Yarra River and through the heart of the city, before we finish up with drinks at our Halloween After Party!

There will be a special prize for the best dressed as judged by our expert panel Nath, Dan, Adam & Lara!

Our Social Walks are a great way to get outside, get your body moving and make some amazing new friends along the way!

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Yarra River Trail is one of the most stunning walks in Melbourne, offering beautiful views of the city skyline and gorgeous bridges along the river. The trail is a very easy, flat 6km on well-maintained pathways, and the walk is suitable for all levels of fitness and abilities.

Our walk will start at the Riverland Bar by Federation Square, and we will stroll along the north side of the Yarra River until we reach the famous Webb Bridge, where we will cross over and return toward Hamer Hall along the south side of the river, before finishing up with drinks at our Halloween After Party!

Get dressed up in your in your best Halloween costume and enjoy an awesome night with the Social Walks community!

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

Meeting Location: The Riverland Bar, Melbourne

Meeting Time: Arrive 7:00pm for a strict 7:15am Departure.

Parking options: There is plenty paid parking at Federation Square and the meeting point only 150m walk from Flinders Street Station.
NOTE: Arriving on time is critical to the Walk getting away on time. Participants not checked-in by 7:15pm may be left behind.
CARPOOLING: Need help getting a lift to the hike, feel free to post in the Melbourne Social Walks Facebook Group

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 2L)

- Snack food for the hike

- Money for the pub / after party (optional)

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable sturdy walking shoes

- Weather suitable clothing (check weather the afternoon of the walk)

- Hat or Beanie

FINISH

The Hike should take around 1.5-2 hours with some small breaks to take some amazing and spooky photos. Everyone is welcome at the after party for drinks until the venue kick us out!
