Join Luisa for her VERY FIRST Social Walk as we head to the west to enjoy the beautiful Maribyrnong River Trail while the sun sets over Melbourne!

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Maribyrnong River Trail is a fun and easy hike for beginners and newbies!

The Track is an approximate 6km loop that traverses both sides of the Maribyrnong River and should take about 2.5 hours to complete depending on our pace.

All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event.

The best part about the Maribyrnong River in Melbourne is its rich combination of natural beauty, recreational opportunities, and historical significance. The river winds through a variety of landscapes, from lush wetlands and parks to industrial areas, offering a diverse experience for visitors.

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

Meeting Location: Anglers Tavern

Meeting Time: Arrive between 7:00pm for a 7:20 Departure.

Parking: There is free parking at the Anglers Tavern.

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 1-2L)

- Snack food for the hike

- Money for the pub afterwards. (Optional)

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable Walking Shoes

- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing (check weather the night before).

- Hat / Sunglasses & Sun Protection

FINISH

The Hike should take around 2.5 hours with small breaks to enjoy some sightseeing and we will finish back where we started.
