ABOUT THIS EVENT

Join us for our next Social Walk with guide Adam as we visit Lysterfield Park to complete the picturesque Western Boundary and Tramline Tracks!

Our Social Walks are a great way to get outside, get your body moving and make some amazing new friends along the way!

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Western Boundary and Tramline Tracks are moderate/hard in difficulty (335m of elevation) and requires a reasonable level of fitness to complete. Beginners are welcome, however there are a few hills that may test you. 

This hike includes some hills, occasionally walking on some rocky trails and bushwalking which can be slippery and muddy when wet.  

The trail includes some beautiful views of Lysterfield Park with amazing native fauna likely present, and most importantly a great chance to spot heaps of Kangaroos and Wallabies.  

The Hike should take between 3.5 hours to complete depending on our pace.

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

Meeting Location: Hallam North Rd Carpark (Lysterfield park - Toilet Present at meeting point)

Meeting Time: Arrive between 9:30am for a 10:00am Departure. 

Parking - There is plenty of free parking at the meeting point

- Water (at least 2L)

- Snack food for the hike

- Money for a drink/food afterwards

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable fit for purpose Walking Shoes

- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing (check weather the night before). 

- Hat / Sunglasses & Sun Protection

FINISH

The Hike should take around 3.5 hours with small breaks to enjoy some sightseeing and a stop for lunch and we will finish back around where we started.
