    ABOUT THIS EVENT

    Join us for a captivating sunrise walk led by Dan in the picturesque Royal Park located on the North side of Melbourne. Our sunrise strolls offer a serene way to kickstart your day while basking in the beauty of a stunning sunrise alongside the awesome Social Walks community. The Parkville loop showcases a blend of scenic water features, lush nature areas, and charming suburban stops for a delightful coffee break.

    Our Social Walks are a great way to get outside, get your body moving and make some amazing new friends along the way!

    WHAT TO EXPECT

    The Parkville Loop is very close to the CBD and winds through several different parks and environments where you will often forget how close you are to the city. 

    The trail is roughly 8km and includes the Royal Park loop, Princes Park and snakes around the perimeter of Melbourne Zoo and also the Trinwarren Borre. It's a fantastic urban trail that is sure to get your day started well.

    We will aim to finish the walk around 8:30am where you can head off and enjoy the rest of your day.

    All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event. 

    START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

    MEETING LOCATION: 1/69 Oak St, Parkville.

    MEETING TIME: Arrive between 6:00am - 6:15am where we will commence walking at 6:15am SHARP to catch the sunset. 

    NOTE: Arriving on time is critical to the Walk getting away on time. Participants not checked-in by 6:10am may be left behind. 

    PARKING: There is free parking at the designated meeting spot.

    WHAT TO BRING

    - Water (at least 1-2L)

    - Snack food for the hike

    - Money for café afterwards/during the walk (optional)

    WHAT TO WEAR

    - Comfortable Walking Shoes

    - Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing (check weather on the day). 

    - Hat / Beanie

    FINISH

    The Hike should take around 2 - 2.5 hours with small breaks to enjoy some sightseeing and wildlife spotting. At the start of the walk we will gauge work start times and cater accordingly to make sure you get to your shift on time. 

    The walk starts and finishes in the same location.
