WHAT TO EXPECT

The Red hill Trail is a 13km "there and back again" walk that is surrounded by beautiful scenery from start to finish. The trail will take roughly 3 hours to complete depending on the pace of the group. With the terrain being mostly flat and suitable for beginners. At 13km, this is long hike, but all ages and fitness levels are welcome to join this walk. The trail is also dog friendly.

Along the route, Walkers can enjoy scenic vistas, especially from the elevated sections, and observe diverse flora and fauna native to the region as well walking underneath the towring pine trees well known in the area.

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

Meeting Location: Red Hill Rail Trail Carpark

Meeting Time: Arrive at 9.30am for a 10.00am sharp departure. Participants need to be checked in by 9.50am otherwise they will be in danger of missing the walk altogether.

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 2L)

- Snacks/food for the hike

- Money for a pub meal/drink afterwards

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable shoes

- Suitable Clothing to accommodate for weather (check weather the night before).

- Hat / Sunglasses & Sun Protection

FINISH

The Hike should take around 3-3.5 hours with a few small breaks in between to enjoy the sights and take in the views.

We will finish back where we began the walk to gather and hopefully enjoy a drink together to celebrate.
