Join our newest Social Walks leader Adam for another spectacular sunrise walk with beautiful coastline views along the wonderful Bayside trail located in Melbourne's South East. This early morning stroll is the PERFECT way to start your day and share a gorgeous sunrise with the Social Walks Crew. Bayside's Bay Trail is a beautiful part of Melbourne and we'll be strolling along the Red Bluff Cliffs of Port Phillip Bay all the way through to Ricketts Point Marine Coastal Park.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Bayside Bay Trail is a fantastic trail for all fitness levels and the PERFECT way to wake up while hanging with some cool people.

This trail is roughly 5km long and spans the best part of one of Melbourne's most incredible coastal cliff-side suburbs.

With beach views along the entire trail, an easy difficulty, and in one of the greatest spots in Melbourne to catch a sunrise - How could you say no?

We will aim to finish the walk around 8:30am where you can head off and enjoy the rest of your day.

All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event.

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

MEETING LOCATION: Mentone Beach Carpark.

MEETING TIME: Arrive between 6:30am - 6:40am where we will commence walking at 6:45am SHARP to catch the sunrise.

NOTE: Arriving on time is critical to the Walk getting away on time. Participants not checked-in by 6:40am may be left behind.

PARKING: There is free parking in the Mentone Beach Carpark up until 8am. From 8am onwards it is capped at 1 hour which allows plenty of time.

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 1-2L)

- Morning Snack food for the hike

- Money for coffee at the café afterwards/during the walk (optional)

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable Walking Shoes

- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing (check weather on the day).

- Hat / Beanie

FINISH

The Hike should take around an 1.5 to 2 hours with small breaks to enjoy some sightseeing.

The walk starts and finishes in the same location.
