This will be a perfect way to spend your Saturday evening with the incredible social vibes of the group and getting those extra steps in while finding your dinner at this multicultural culinary delight of a market.

WHAT TO EXPECT

For one night only Social walks is taking you to the late night hours of the Dandenong Market!!

The World Fare @ Night at the Dandenong Market is a multicultural event that celebrates global cuisines, music, and culture. Held on select evenings, it features food stalls offering a variety of international dishes, live music performances, and cultural experiences. The event creates a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere where visitors can enjoy street food, entertainment, and activities reflecting the region's diverse community. It's a great way to explore global flavors and cultural traditions in a lively, evening market setting.

The night won't be too difficult as it is all flat with many times to stop and get those incredible pictures you won't be able to resist. All up there will be roughly 6km covered.

The trail should take us around 2.5 hours to complete, depending on our pace and includes the trail offers a peaceful escape into nature, winding through lush green spaces, parks, and wetlands, while also providing urban views. It’s popular for walking and birdwatching, with plenty of spots to relax and enjoy the surrounding flora and fauna.

All ages and fitness levels are welcome to this event.

START TIME AND MEET LOCATION

MEETING LOCATION: Betula Park Reserve

MEETING TIME: Arrive between 5:00pm and 5:20pm SHARP to meetup and check in for an 5:30pm sharp Departure (Plan to arrive early and give yourself extra time for parking and to find the group).

NOTE: It is recommended you park at the Dandenong market and walk to the start point if you aren't interested in walking back at the end of the night.

Public transport is an accessible option for this walk. Check the PTV website to plan the route from your area.

WHAT TO BRING

- Water (at least 1-2L)

- Snack food for the hike

- Money for cheers drink + dinner (optional)

WHAT TO WEAR

- Comfortable walking shoes.

- Comfortable Weather Suitable Clothing.

- Bring a jacket as it could get fresh.

FINISH

The Night should finish at 9:30pm once we wander back to the start point with full bellies and big smiles.
