Mellow Mondays - Lismore Community Wellbeing & Lismore Workplace Wellbeing Initiative

Mellow Mondays is for:

• Lismore Community Wellbeing (unwaged & low income participants) have improved access to holistic healthcare; and for
• Lismore Workplace Wellbeing Initiative (waged participants) to 'taste' the holistic healthcare available in Lismore

By appointment only (no walk-ins):

*On weekly during the school term;

*Receive a full 1hr therapeutic session for approximately 50% off;

*Pre-book and prepay your session online, so we know you're coming. While you're here, we can fully focus on your treatment/consultation (Appointments Close 24hrs before each Mellow Monday, on Sunday at 9.45am);

*It's a therapist 'pot-luck'. All bookings are equally distributed amongst therapists. So far we have had massage and Reiki available. All therapists are professional, fully qualified and practice at Mellow Mondays under their own insurance cover.

*Sessions will be conducted in a shared, open space (dividers between each treatment space provided for privacy);

*Booked sessions cannot be rescheduled, but can be transferred to another person.

WANT TO BOOK A PRIVATE TREATMENT WITH YOUR PREFERRED THERAPIST?

*The 3-session Treatment Special is a limited time offer available to participants on the day of their $45 treatment. Just specify your practitioner when you purchase the ticket. Your practitioner will contact you to arrange your appointment times, days and venue.

 Mellow Monday Conditions for waged/salaried participants:

• Receive 1x treatment per practitioner only at the $45 rate - to 'taste' the services on offer;
• Access a limited time* 3x Session Treatment Offer to revisit a preferred practitioner after you've had your 1 'taster' session (*must be booked the same day as your treatment with them)

In the event we are unable to provide your booked treatment on the day, (due to practitioner illness etc.) we will reschedule your booking for another Monday of your choice.

This initiative mutually benefits community, as well as small wellbeing businesses. 

It provides: 

• better access to professional holistic and wellbeing services;
• an opportunity to sample the range of holistic bodywork and health-related consultation services available in our community;
• an opportunity for the Lismore business and working community to prioritise and support their health, happiness & wellbeing, with the added benefits of improved: staff retention; productivity; and satisfaction.

This wellbeing initiative recognises:

1. an enduring climate of personal and collective stressors and the need to improve community access to holistic healing services, to foster the physical, emotional, mental and social recovery, and ongoing wellbeing of the Lismore and surrounding communities;
   
2. the need to provide particular access for those in the caring professions, at risk of burnout and secondary trauma, who provide a variety of essential caring services to our community;
3. the increased recognition within the general business and working community, of the importance of prioritising and facilitating health and wellbeing initiatives, and the subsequent flow-on benefits; and
4. the unique challenges, local and independent small wellbeing businesses have faced in their recovery post-flood and post-COVID.
