Daley, Melody Moko is taking no breaths, just coming in hot and loud with a brand new record in 2023, "Suburban
Dream" recorded with Neilson Hubbard (Mary Gauthier, Mindy Smith,Matthew Ryan) and husband Michael Moko (Catherine
Britt, Storer, Fanny Lumsden)
The golden guitar winning, QMA slinging, ARIA charting mama is set to bring you a show that rivals the big guns, with
husband Michael on guitar, banter that would see her with a ring on her hand on the first date, and a voice and
stories that draws an audience in like the pros. This is a show you will remember for years to come
MELODY MOKO:
Melody Moko is an artist whose style is a natural and heartfelt extension of
her personality. Her songs reside under the wide umbrella of Americana yet
they inhabit all its intriguing corners, from melancholic alt-country to pining
country songs, uplifting pop-tinged revelry and proud and powerful balladry.
Her debut “The Wreckage” saw her tour with artists like Tim Rogers and The
McClymonts and perform at high profile festivals.
Fans showed their faith by contributing overwhelmingly to her crowd-funding
campaign to record “Two Kids & A Radio”. Released in 2020 it debuted at #1
on the ARIA Australian Country Charts. She triumphantly received a Golden
Guitar for New Talent of the Year, a QMA for Country Song of the Year and
was nominated for the Australian Music Prize.
After touring Australia in 2022 with Troy Cassar-Daley & Ian Moss and
travelling to the US for an official showcase at Americana Fest she penned a
swag of new songs, and joined forces once again with Neilson Hubbard &
Michael Moko to record her new album “Suburban Dream”, an album bursting
at the seams with the heartache of the pandemic and brimming with the brutal
honesty we have come to expect from Melody Moko.
FELICITY KIRCHER:
Hair flicking & flare kicking ‘felicity’ is dancing her way up the charts with her latest single release ‘sweet
tea
