Background:

In 2023 a new service will open that aims to help families find and connect to local services that support children to be healthy, well and grow to their full potential. This will be in partnership between IPC Health, Western Health and Royal Children's Hospital with the aim at providing local care to:

- Support children to overcome behavioural, learning and relational difficulties
- Austism assessment and support
- Support and programs for families and their children to provide the best environment for their children's healthy growth and development

Last year we ran 4 workshops with 28 community members from many different cultural backgrounds. We were able to generate over 130 ideas which will play an integral part in guiding the future child and family service for the Brimbank and Melton community.

We would like to share the insights we've put together to make sure they properly reflect the wants and needs of the community. This is also an opportunity for clinicians and staff working in the future service to hear your feedback directly.

What we are planning:

- Drop-in sessions at our IPC Health Sunshine site

- Activities to capture children's (4-11 years old) to hear what they want and need from the Hub

What you will receive:

1. We know that your time and insights are valuable. Participants will receive $100 Giftpay giftcard which will be e-mailed to you the day after your workshop.

2. Children who participate in activities will be provided with small gift that is for their contribution.

Getting here:

All day parking is available on site at a cost of $4, or free parking is available at the shopping centre across the road.
Sunshine IPC is a short walk from Albion station. Please let us know if you require assistance getting to or from the venue.
