Join us for Melton Rodeo Weekend 2026 in Alpha, Queensland. Whether you're competing, supporting a rider or simply looking for a great day out, Melton Rodeo Weekend offers something for the whole family. A full weekend of rodeo action, horsemanship, competition and community spirit.

The weekend kicks off on Friday 2 October with the Melton Rodeo Bronc Riding School, giving aspiring riders the opportunity to learn from some of Australia's leading bronc riders.

Saturday morning features Barrels 4 A Cause, a community fundraising event showcasing Open 4D Barrel Racing, Youth 3D and Little Drummers competition.

The weekend concludes with the inaugural 2026 Melton Rodeo, bringing together bull riding, bareback, saddle bronc, barrel racing and family-friendly entertainment under the lights.
