Think Fleetwood Mac mixed with Jewel and Sarah McLaughlin, except a little bit more country and a lot less 90s.

She’ll turn your joy and your grief into potent songs with raw honesty, backed up by her beloved mini Maton and her partner Neill on electric tele.

Her acoustic country/folk blend reflects a rose-coloured outlook infused with the grit of experience and hard earned lessons.

She turns joy, grief and raw honesty into potent and beautiful songs, sharing relatable stories, backed up by her beloved mini Maton and her partner on electric tele.

About VanLora

Music is clearly in the bones of  Vanessa, lead singer of mother-daughter duo VanLora. Ever since she was a little girl, she’s been humming, singing, creating storylines in her head. Music is the narrative, the expression and the translation of feelings into her own brand of pop melody.

Loraine, mother and pianist, played multiple instruments before moving country and raising a family put a long pause on things. It was a teenage Vanessa’s need for a pianist that saw her return to music.

Seven years later, the depth of their musical bond shines through on stage. Though with vastly different approaches, Loraine and Vanessa flow on the same wavelength. Their duelling keyboards move pent up emotions and life experience into advocacy for mental health, anti-bullying awareness and put their own twist on popular - and surprising - covers.

Music has to feel good, no matter the subject, and VanLora’s expressive pop style will definitely leave you feeling good!

About Deep Peace Trust

Deep Peace Trust is a long-established, large-land animal and horse sanctuary outside Braidwood, NSW, providing a lifelong home for around 300 rescued and formerly homeless animals, including cows, sheep, goats, horses and cats.

The Trust is committed to giving every resident safety, belonging and care for life. In return, the animals inspire Deep Peace Trust’s work in animal advocacy, education and culture change, helping create a kinder world in which all beings belong.

Run voluntarily with no government funding, the sanctuary has been hit hard by prolonged lack of rain and today’s soaring cost of hay and feed. They are urgently looking for donors and especially regular donors to expand their donor community and help provide increased security for the animals in care.
