MEMBER CONSULTATION: HEALTHCARE

Down Syndrome NSW is funded to provide representative disability advocacy specifically for people with Down syndrome, their families and carers. The includes engagement with our members to ascertain views and priority issues. 

Please join us to express your views and experiences in the area of ‘healthcare’ so that DSNSW can advocate in a meaningful way for people with Down syndrome and their families to drive change.

This works strives to ensure people with Down syndrome and their families have access to quality healthcare and good health outcomes. People with intellectual disability experience over twice the rate of avoidable deaths, emergency presentations and hospital admissions.
