Social connection & ageing: A community conversation
Event description
COTA Victoria and Seniors Rights Victoria invites older Victorians to participate in an exciting new research initiative that explores how older Victorians maintain social connections. This in-person event offers you the chance to identify opportunities to increase access to services and programs that support older Victorians.
Share your experiences, discuss barriers to social engagement, and propose practical solutions that could make a real difference in your community. Your insights will directly inform advocacy efforts and help develop more effective support systems across Victoria.
Be part of this important conversation about social connectedness and help build stronger communities for all older Victorians. Your perspective matters –- help us create change that works.
This event is free to members; tea, coffee, and lunch will be provided. A formal program will run between 10 am - 11.30 am; participants are welcome to stay, have a chat, and enjoy lunch until 12.30 pm.
This conversation will be held in the Majorca Room, located on level 1 of the Melbourne City Library, accessible by both lift or stairs.
