Be part of the launch into a new golden era for the Wintergarden Theatre with Memories, a live performance by Redhead Production Company. This show is being held as part of opening of the exhibition Showtime: A History of the Wintergarden Theatre 1929–1968.

Memories will feature two captivating 45-minute sets drawn from Redhead Productions’ much-loved repertoire. Expect rich harmonies, vintage hits, and a heartfelt tribute to the performers, plays, and stories that shaped Bundaberg’s theatrical legacy.

Redhead Production Company was established in 2022 by Artistic Director Bex Hutchins, who sought to create opportunities for local performers to showcase their talents beyond the Playhouse stage. Every member of the troupe is either a current or former performer at the Playhouse Theatre, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to the group.

Redhead offers this talented ensemble the chance to perform in a range of dynamic settings outside traditional theatre. Since its inception, the company has entertained audiences at events such as HSG, RiverFeast, and cabaret-style theatre restaurants. They have also presented themed events including cabaret quiz nights and festive performances for the Moore Park Beach Festival and Bundaberg Regional Council’s Christmas celebrations.
