    BOOKINGS STILL OPEN

We are excited to invite you to a significant and inspiring event aimed at creating a safer, more respectful community. On the evening of November 18th, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, we will be hosting Champions for Change at the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre. This event is free of charge and includes 30-minute post-event refreshments and catch up in the foyer.

This special gathering is for leaders, educators, fathers, and all men in our community who are committed to ending violence and serving as role models for future generations of respectful men. Teenagers age 16 years in leadership positions or a position of influence are welcome to attend the program.

Meet Matt Brown: Our keynote speaker, Matt Brown, is a New Zealand-born Samoan author and renowned communicator. Matt is the inspiration behind a global movement dedicated to inspiring men to create change within their communities. A survivor of family violence and childhood sexual abuse, Matt began his advocacy work by sharing his story with men at his barbershops, encouraging vulnerability, healing, and connection. He is dedicated to redefining society’s view of masculinity and ending the cycle of domestic violence.

Matt and his wife Sarah are the authors of the NZ #1 Bestseller, She Is Not Your Rehab. Their work has had a profound impact worldwide, supporting those who perpetrate violence to heal and break the cycle of domestic abuse.

This event is hosted by the Centre Against Violence and proudly supported by the Rural City of Wangaratta and the Victorian State Government Free From Violence funding.

Your presence and participation are vital as we work together to create a culture of respect and safety for all.

    Bookings are essential.

We look forward to seeing you there. And yes – please encourage your mates to register too!
