Men As Allies: Celebrating Respect
Description
Celebrating Respect – Looking out for each other
Join the Wagga Women’s Health Centre for a semi-formal reception celebrating the people, partnerships and local action helping prevent domestic and family violence in our community.
Two years on from the Men’s Leadership Forum in 2024, we’re bringing together local leaders, Men’s Consultation Group members, community partners and supporters to reflect on what has grown from that first gathering.
The evening will celebrate the achievements of our Men as Allies project and recognise the commitment of the men and organisations who have helped turn conversations into action. We’ll share stories and videos from the project, hear about the work happening across our community and look ahead to what comes next.
While the Men as Allies project is drawing to a close, the Men’s Consultation Group and our commitment to prevention will continue. This reception is an opportunity to reconnect, welcome new people and build support for the work ahead.
