    A bit about the speaker...

Dave Jensen lives in Sydney and has two jobs: he works as a pastor at Menai Anglican Church and is also the assistant director of 'Evangelism New Churches' (ENC), which seeks to partner with churches in Sydney and beyond to see the lost find life and hope in Jesus.

He has worked as a pastor focusing on evangelism in churches in Australia and the UK over the past decade. He has developed the 'Discover' evangelistic course, authored the short book 'What is a Christian?', and can be heard on the 'Fire up!' and 'What is a Christian?' podcasts; all of which are resources designed to help non-Christian people understand the truth about Jesus and be saved.

Prior to working in ministry, Dave was an Infantry officer in the Australian Army which is where someone told him the truth about Jesus and he became a Christian in his late twenties. Dave loves rugby league, cricket, and eating Lebanese chicken but loves his wife Sammy and their 4 young sons even more.

    About Men's Christian Convention

The aims of the MCC are to encourage men to live for Christ, and to support the work of local churches in their work in this area.

The conference brings together men from churches of different denominations across Canterbury and beyond: we invite godly and gifted Bible teachers to expound God’s word for us, and we enjoy praising God together through excellent music.

The Men's Christian Convention is run annually in Christchurch by the Gospel Training Trust.
