Gain new clarity and understanding of self, with breathwork.

Men of Canberra, you are invited to join this unique men's group, that uses conscious-connected breathing (breathwork) as a tool to let go of old and outdated patterns of thought and behaviours, to connect with self and others, and to re-imagine our understanding of masculinity. This men's group breathwork session will support you to access a deeper understanding of self and your experience of life, through the use of breathwork. Transition Breath’s men’s groups are trauma-informed and apply holistic psychotherapy principles to every session.

Breathwork supports you to quieten the thinking mind and access the wisdom of the subconscious and the body. In this altered-state of consciousness, you can access new information or clarity about life, release held or "hidden" physical or emotional material, bring your heart, body and mind into alignment, and can have peak spiritual experiences.

This group breathwork session is held for anyone who identifies as a man. All levels of experience, all bodies, all types of sexuality and masculinity. This is a queer-friendly event.

Transition Breath’s approach is an exploration of the breath, whilst noticing what arises in body. Participants are supported to let go of tension and soften into the unfolding energy within the body, all within a supportive group setting. This work can involve addressing self-limiting beliefs, stuck emotions and unresolved issues, enabling you to connect with your life force and vitality. It facilitates the release of stress, anxiety, depression, and stagnant energy. By understanding and transforming self-limiting behaviours and thought patterns, participants can become more empowered, aware and self-compassionate. Breathwork aids in healing cultural, ancestral and family traumas, ultimately leading to an overall improvement in well-being and acceleration of your personal growth journey.

To ensure adequate support to participants, each session has limited spaces available.

The exchange varies depending on your financial situation:

• Full-fee ticket, $80 (those people with an expendable wage); and
• Sponsored tickets available ($40.00).

Breathwork is not suitable for: People with cardiovascular problems, pregnancy, some psychiatric conditions, psychosis, recent surgery or fractures, acute infectious illness or epilepsy, severe hypertension, glaucoma, or active spiritual emergency.
