Men's Spiritual Journey: Obstacles and Truths Hidden in Plain Sight

This workshop explores one man’s journey towards wholeness. It will focus on some of the things I have found on my spiritual path that are obstacles to wholeness, the things that so permeate our culture that we literally do not see them. The things that as men we are not supposed to question, to explore and to really look at deeply. FOR MEN ONLY

Stephen Blackmore has a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Texas A&M University. Doctor Blackmore spent his working career as a school psychologist for the Houston Independent School District, then as a family therapist at the Houston Child Guidance Center, and for the last 20 years of his career maintained an individual private practice as a psychologist and family therapist in West Houston. After retirement he trained as a spiritual director at the Spiritual Direction Institute with the Cenacle Sisters. Since 2017 he has been a staff spiritual director with the Cenacle Retreat House and now with the Emmaus Spirituality Center.
