Why 'make do' when you can Mend and Make AWESOME!?
Join the repair revolution with our friendly team of experienced menders and upcyclers to get inspiration and practical help to turn flaws into a favourite features.
All mending and simple alterations projects welcome!
No previous sewing experience needed, but please let us know beforehand if you are an absolute beginner so we have enough helpers on site to give you a bit of extra help.
Participation is by suggested donation of $10 (prepay with your booking, cash or eftpos), thanks to funding from DCC Waste Minimisation to subsidise costs. You can also pay with your time by volunteering with us or using time credits from Dunedin Time Bank.
