Event description

Is hormonal change catching up with you? Are your periods getting lighter, heavier or gone with the wind? Are you experiencing hot flushes, aches and pains, mood swings, insomnia, lowered immunity, poor energy, crazy mood swings or weight gain? Welcome to Menopause.

It’s not all bad news. This workshop is designed for you to explain the changes you are transitioning through and why. What impact these may have and what you can do to transition through menopause with ease.

Menopause is a time of change and making it a positive time of change is not just potluck! The truth is there is now plenty of evidence to suggest that preparing for mid-life with a good diet, lifestyle and exercise program will greatly influence the way a woman experiences menopause – and beyond. Symptoms are not to be expected but prevention starts in your 40s – long before your symptoms appear.

This workshop is for women wanting to prepare their mind and body for what’s next, for women interested in healthy ageing and minimising the impact of hormonal changes.

In this 2 hours workshop, take away information on:

  • The who, what, when and how’s of perimenopause, menopause and beyond
  • a yoga flow to support you through the transition
  • Everything you need to know about managing perimenopausal symptoms naturally
  • How to maintain strong bones as you age
  • How natural medicines, eating the right diet and specific lifestyle recommendations can help you

Join us for an empowering, informative session.

    Your hosts:
Charlotte has been a Naturopath for some 20 years now. She recognises that, although hormones may be tiny molecules, they can have profound impact on our physical & mental health. Particularly in our 40s, when hormone levels can fluctuate  wildly, and the hormone receptors in the brain have a hard time maintaining any sort of equanimity. Using a combination of herbal & nutritional medicines, and some down-to-earth lifestyle changes, Charlotte has helped many women ease their way forth into the (wonderful!) menopausal years.

    Cath Dalle
Cath is passionate about women's well being and empowerement through self care, healthy lifestyle and education. Preparing for any transition in life is making the process smoother and easier. She has been facilitating workshops since more than 15 years and enjoys creating safe spaces where women feel heard, respected for who they are and where they are on their journey.
Cath is a holistic massage therapist and a yoga therapist.
