Menopause Matters: Understanding the Transition at Work and Beyond
Event description
Menopause Matters: Understanding the Transition at Work and Beyond
Menopause is a natural life stage experienced by many, yet it often remains misunderstood, under-discussed, and stigmatised.
Join us for Menopause Matters, an open and supportive conversation about how peri-menopause and menopause affect health, wellbeing, and work — and how we can build more inclusive, compassionate environments across our University community.
This event will feature expert insights, lived experiences, and practical strategies for fostering understanding and support in the workplace.
Whether you’re navigating menopause yourself, supporting a colleague, or simply want to learn more, your presence and participation are warmly welcome.
What to Expect
Panel Discussion: Hear from a diverse panel of speakers sharing medical, workplace, and personal perspectives on menopause — including practical ways the University can better support staff and students.
Community Connection: After the discussion, stay for a relaxed, catered afternoon tea — a chance to connect, share stories, and continue the conversation.
