Event description

Hosted by Sexologist: Carol Queen, PhD

In Collaboration with Good Vibes & the Antique Vibrator Museum

Sexy Menopause (Keepin' It Hot Through the Hot Flashes)

Just call 'em power surges and go to bed naked!

Good Vibrations staff sexologist Dr. Carol Queen will discuss "the Change" and how to
ride the ups and downs of those hormone shifts, plus information about taking good care of yourself.

Please come if you're into menopause, too, and share your wisdom!

This information does not assume you are female-identified; if you have (or had) ovaries, please come! Plus partners of menopausal folks might want to step up too.

About Carol:

Carol Queen PhD is staff sexologist at Good Vibrations, the woman-founded sex shop, where she has worked since 1990.

A noted cultural sexologist and widely published, she's written or edited several books, including Exhibitionism for the Shy; The Leather Daddy & the Femme; The Sex & Pleasure Book: Good Vibrations Guide to Great Sex for Everyone (lead author, with Shar Rednour).

For over 45 years, she has been speaking publicly about sexuality, frequently to the media as well as colleges, conferences, etc. She debated the question of promiscuity ("virtue or vice?") at the Oxford Union and has contributed to numerous documentaries about sexuality.

Queen co-founded the Center for Sex & Culture in San Francisco with Dr. Robert Morgan Lawrence
