Dipak Jilka

Psychotherapist, Counsellor

As an Indian migrant from Kenya, Dipak grew up in London and has been in Australia for the last 25 years. From an early age Dipak strived to create a balance between both Eastern and Western cultures. His midlife had the makings of a typical white-collar Australian man; building a career, a home and parenting and maintaining relationships. During this Dipak was often searching for meaning and purpose, resulting eventually in a shift in career.

Dipak volunteers as a phone support agent with Family Drug Support (FDS) and also as a facilitator with the Banksia Projects men’s mental health support group.
