Mental health has never been discussed as much as it has in recent years. Now is the perfect time to offer a bespoke treatment to any clients who present themselves with any mental health concerns.

For those suffering from stress-related issues, anxiety, or mental/emotional imbalance, reflexology can prove to be a supportive and healing therapy. Client’s report being able to express emotions and feelings more openly, which can then lead to positive lifestyle changes and a feeling of being more in control. Reflexology is simple, safe, and very effective and works well with other forms of medicine, both orthodox and complementary.

Mental illnesses are not confined to the mind, and their symptoms may manifest in the body’s nervous system, mood, immunity, thought processes and perception. Drugs such as anti-depressants are increasingly being used as the answer to these symptoms, but there are other alternate ways out there to treat them, including through the practice of reflexology.

The art of reflexology benefits mental health by stimulating the nervous and lymphatic systems, encouraging a release of the feel-good hormones Endorphins that are renown for relieving stress.

This one-day course face to face or 5 @1.5 hour zooms has been designed for reflexologists who are interested in specialising in Reflexology for mental health conditions.

The first part of the course will cover the theory and discussion of some of the main mental health conditions that affect people all over the world. You will gain a better understanding of such problems.

The second part of the course will be practical where you will be taught a bespoke routine, tailored specifically to help clients who are suffering with their mental health.
