Mental Health Awareness Ride 2025
Event description
Join us for a morning ride and make Mental Health and Well-being easier to dicuss.
As a collective, we will aim to ride as many km's as we can. Each person is contributing to the total. If you ride 2 km's or 50 km's it I'll counts, just like everyone making an effort to raise awareness of Mental Health issues and removing the stigma. Mental Health touches all of us - whether through personal experience or someone we care about. By riding with the crew from the "On Track" program, you are helping to demonstrate that better Mental Health and well-being are important, and that we acknowledge the challenges together and can navigate these by riding side by side. Plus, it will be a ripper of a ride!!
The ride will take place on the custom-built trails that surround The Edmund Rice Community Service location at Mt Atkinson. The route will have a marked 2km trail with fun obstacles. Just ride what you want and how far you want at your pace. It's not a race....but you can go fast if you want. At 12:30 pm, each kilometre will be tallied up so we will celebrate how many km's we have been able to ride together. You may also have a personal goal for the day. The celebration will continue after the ride with a free social lunch.
The ride is FREE to participate in.
