MOOD is partnering with Cannes in Cairns to give you the opportunity to arm yourself with the skills you need to better look out for those around you. We are aiming high, hoping to upskill more 60 industry people with the knowledge they need to provide mental health first aid to those around them.

What does the session involve?
- 5hrs of e-learning to be completed before attending
- 2 x 2.5hr sessions - slot to be determined after booking

What is the MOOD x Mental Health First Aid Course?
This course will help you to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill heath and equip you on how to respond. It will empower you on how to provide initial help, where and how to get professional help, what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective, and how to provide mental health first aid in a crisis situation using a practical, evidence-based action plan.

By upskilling yourself in Mental Health First Aid, you’ll also be supporting MOOD, with each person receiving tea as a part of their course completion.
